ARTIST BIO

Born in 1987 in Osaka Prefecture, VERDY first moved to Tokyo in 2012 and worked as part of the illustrator and graphic design group VK DESIGN WORKS.

Today, he is an absolutely essential graphic artist to Tokyo’s street scene, with the tremendous popularity of his two main projects “Girls Don’t Cry” and “Wasted Youth” spreading his name all over the world. Since 2018 he has been producing paintings and sculptures.
